Prepare your pens to rewind!
So this is a simple transparent cassette. The client wanted as transparent as possible to use it in different backgrounds. There are some examples in the attachments.
Also check the making of!
Edit: just added a high-resolution of it

Very well done dude. Like it a lot!
Amazing! The cassette band looks a bit blurry or is just my impression? Great work on transparency!
Vaya currazo! Thanks for sharing the process!
interesting process, like a photo, very realistic
This should go to the popular page, is perfect!!!
Very nice, very nice.
great work mate!
Wow, it looks amazing.
Very cool dude.
Top, top stuff
Great work man! I know how much extra effort it takes to make something that works on multiple backgrounds, so hats off to you!
This is fantastic, getting transparency right is always a challenge and you've managed it admirably :D
Tip: Right now you have the tape reflecting white at the bottom, and it looks weird on a dark background. The solution I have found for this problem is to have a stronger shadow below the tape, and then make the tape reflect the shadow at the edge, so that it blends in on both white and black backgrounds. On a white background the edge is black because it's reflecting the shadow, on a black one because it is reflecting the background. Here's a sloppy edit so you can see what I mean.
Oh, and, any chance of a ri-res version? I'd love to see all of that gorgeous detail up close.
This looks awesome. Very realistic.
oh very nice, love it!
Thank you people for you comments!
@Ollin thank you very much for your feedback, I appreciate a lot that you took time to prepare me a gif and everything! I've attached a higher resolution of the cassette with the changes. Thanks again man!
