Here is a zoomed in detail of an illustration that I'm currently working on that seems to take ages to finish. What you see here will only appear very small in the final version. So you'll hardly see all these details (the beauty of vector-based illustrations). I'll probably also add some subtle shadow effects here. I always do these kind of finishing touches in my last stage, but I'm not there yet. So it's all still in progress, but the end is almost near.

When I saw the thumbnail on my iPhone, it almost looked like a 3d rendering.

    Thank you guys! :)

@Salih Kucukaga Thx! No, it's Shimano.

@Kaushik V. Panchal Thx! Yes, I can't live without my cycling anymore since a couple of years now. It has become my way of life really as cycling has become a vital part of my life… I've been slowly growing from hybride/touring bike, to hybrid race bike (with flat steer)… to a full race-bike and I'm very much loving it. An update on my blog will come, but I first have to finish this illustration :)

Thanks everyone :) Will try to finish it this week. I need to do the crankset, pedals, rear-and front derailleur. Not the easiest parts to draw. Luckily I have the perfect model ;)

Fulcrum wheelset & Michelin tires I'd say. Very detailed indeed, nice work.
