Kern the "Ma" and the "ti" and we're in business! Well, I mean, if it were real. Anyway, love it. Could you tag the fonts? Obviously Gotham, but what's the script?
@Allison: You and me both. Coffee section 'til 3. Then it's beer time. Is 12 PM too early?
@Luke: A coffee/beer cafe? I must know the internet location of said place.
@Fuzzco: Ah yes, got lazy at 2 AM and didn't kern at all :) I should have known better. The script is the lovely Coffee Service from the Jukebox collection at Veer.
This is really nice. I know what Daniel means about the centering of the M. This always happens to me when I make an italic or slanted script font with a centered mark. Its like it creates the illusion of the text moving forward and leaving the mark behind, event though it's actually centered. Never sure how to deal with this.
The M looks a little far from the a, and the t is a little close to the i. Fine turning letterspacing is very important with a logo, as I'm sure you know.
I also find the balance of the logo to be a little off. I would get rid of the red cirle, it's not the strongest part of this. I'd then make the sub-text a little larger. Then using red for the larger script, or maybe for the little strokes on either side of the sub-text.

Fake brand is fake.
But I'd really love to open a place like this.

@Jason: Can you imagine? A coffee bar / brew pub hybrid.
I'd never leave.

@Daniel: Thanks dude. Actually everything is centered but I know what you mean about the M circle looking a bit off. Eye trick. I shall fix this.

looks great Tyler! i agree with Daniel though, there seems to be too much space in between the 'M' and the 'a'

You could count me as an investor
I'm always saying there's a niche for something this specific.
Seriously, I'm always saying it.
It's become a problem.
M's off.

@Jeff: It's only like $40!
@Sean: Definitely. I think the best thing to do is go with your gut and position the M where it feels right - something I did not do.
@Youssef: Interesting feedback, I'll give it a try.
