    Knots & more knots...
Border from my complex Celtic knot. I do feel like I need to have my head examined when working on these—yup, but I love a challenge.

Actually, still working on the corner joins on this one. I tried pushing the knots closer together so the two loops in the corner would link, and then the larger strands in the center of the knot lost its flow. Also tried tweaking the tilt of the corner knots to link the two, but did not look right either. It bent my brain, so it is one I will have to come back to.

I think the pattern is lovely now! Are the corner joints you mentioned the tri-loop ones that are touching? I think the joint looks pretty natural; I like the way it links only at the top. Maybe you'd like it better if those corner tri-loops got a little smaller so that the larger sections could move a little closer together?

@Laurie — Thank you! Yes, I am meaning the tri-loop ones. If they are smaller, the loops in the corner do not work. Plus, based on feedback from Sam in the Celtic knot post, I am at the corners again, to make them true over-unders. I think I have it, so will post it soon. That one may not work to create the border, though. Also, YES, it would be nice to have less gap between the center parts. :)
