quick note: at a glance I was seeing an 'e' when I was supposed to see an 'a'. maybe curl the finishing swoop on the 'e' or keep it from connecting to the left side? Otherwise, digging the with highlights version

Agreeing with the above comments on with, it works really well with the gradient. Really love how you did that top 't' and its crossbar, beautiful touch! The way the middle swash fits over the 'm' beneath it works nicely too. I wonder if there might be a way to make the 'A' counter a little larger as it almost gets lost in between the heavy strokes (maybe bringing its lower right point down/to the right a bit?)

Highlights are not really the issue. Kerning and stroke widths are more the concern.

@Nick A and r is very loose. Same with the t and i. Conversely v and a is quite tight. All spacings could do with some adjustment but these are the main one's that stand out.
