First attempt at a login screen for a theme I'm starting work on. Unfortunately, I realize it makes little sense as a static mockup, but oh well :). I'll also provide an option for larger groups that uses the typical username/password login. Inspired by Shaun Moynihan and Daryl Ginn's stuff.

I don't understand for what those two pics are for ? and also the search bar on the top ?
Can't logically see any connection of a search bar on the login screen ?

@Kartik Mahant ✦✦✦ here's a basic rundown: This is the admin login for small groups, and I have just selected my picture, so now the password box has appeared with my name already filled out. The search will allow you to start typing your name to get to it quickly :)
I realize larger groups may prefer the typical username/password login, so I'll probably include that in the theme as well.

Looks good but you're right, it makes little sense ;)
How would the form know the name of the user and have his/her picture is the password hadn't already been entered to allow it to access that information? Also, why 2 pictures?

In absolute honesty, you've just added a shitload of intricacy to what is, and should be, a really simple process. Looks pretty, but can't say I'm a fan of the UX.

@Alexander Scott fair enough ;) appreciate the honesty! I've actually enjoyed this system with other admin themes moreso than the typical login, all I've done was include the search box for quick access compared to other ones. That way you can just start typing your name, hit enter when it comes up, and type your password in (in some cases could take less time than username/password combo).
It very well may be more grandiose than I imagined in practice, though.
