   the banded BG still looks fantastic, and I think losing the speech bubble tail was a good idea - much stronger this way. I don't know about the rounded rectangle though. It doesn't seem to really add anything. Have you thought about skewing the perspective on the rect? Either in X or Z.

    @Dash - Definitely a step in the right direction but I feel like this could have more life in it. All of your icon and app designs are so exciting, vivid and have tons of visual energy. My suggestion would be to try to transfer those lively properties into this a bit - especially since your moniker is "Dash" I feel like there should be some sort of movement expressed in the mark.
