I’ve built my own social icons font for an upcoming Tumblr theme. Every icon has a :hover colour set in CSS, making it easy to override if you need to. Plus … scalable to infinity and beyond.
Most of the icons are from Gedy Rivera’s set with a bunch of my own additions.

@Kevin Clark This version was made in Inkscape by following this tutorial by Heydon Pickering. Inkscape works but it’s not particularly pretty. I’ve since begun rebuilding the set in Glyphs Mini, based on Cameron McFee’s article about Octicons for Github.
