View Shopping Basket

   A drop-down shopping basket I put together for an upcoming site. Having a hard time deciding if I want to have the drop-down appear on-hover or on-click. If it's on click, I'll need to add some buttons to the panel.

   When the cart is empty, the button is a dull-grey and barely visible on the site (ensuring all the attention goes to the products).

   I like the hover idea the best, because if you click, wouldn't your expectation be that you would view your entire shopping cart at the beginning of the checkout process?

   You're right Matthew, on hover would make more sense from an 'expected functionality' viewpoint.
