Empty Tomb

I have been creating some Easter/Resurrection Sunday themed work in preparation for the holiday. This one is a simple visual representation of Jesus Christ's resurrection from His grave/tomb.

Personal thoughts alert/Read at your own risk: Christ has been on my mind lately and I feel like I have not spent a good amount of time reflecting on who He is through the creative process. I definitely feel like it opens up new pathways of thoughtfulness that I haven't experienced before.

I will admit, I have had a fear of sharing personal/spiritual work on social media outlets. The current political climate has been a rough time lately and doesn't really seem like a ripe place for honest conversations.

But I recently cut myself off from politics and unfollowed all political channels on places like twitter and youtube. It has been liberating and I have less anxiety about what other's think about me. And yeah, I am about to be real; shocking as I know a lot of Christians don't do that. I have a big struggle with a fear of people not liking me/rejection. I think most creative types have the same issue.

Through my political purge, I have gained confidence to be myself and not worry about what others think about me or my worldview. I highly encourage any creative person to cut themselves off from unimportant petty/trivial news and focus on what's really important: CREATING AWESOME DESIGNS.

Rant over. Hope you like it, God bless.
