Photo of an identity I handlettered as part of a brand I'm developing for gourmet cookie company Mandorla Sweets. Designed at Zync.
The objective was to design an identity which was both luxurious and approachable. A tall neoclassical serif was handlettered to embody class and timelessness; paired with ornaments to embrace the mark's musicality. The tapered strokes of Optima–reminiscent of a calligraphic pen–were called upon for the tag lines, which invoke approachability, purity, and craft. The identity's lightness is complemented by generous white space, enclosed by a thin keyline.
