Honestly, the iPhone App Store doesn't look good at all. So just for fun I did a small redesign using the same content, structure and color palette—almost—as the original.
Be sure to have a look at the full size attachment.

Not bad at all :) but you have mistake on the top "popular" :) or you dont?
You are absolutely right and like clients you focus on the right stuff ;)
I prefer this. Nice work man!
Very nice! Although I think that blue topbar could be of a little brighter hue, it looks a little dull/boring, other than that I love what you've done :)
I would like to see this working! Well done man!
very nice :)
@jonathan olsen — I concur.
Let's hope these changes are made at the WWDC ;) AWESOME work!
Hey Daniel, why don't you try to design the app download view?
Ouch for the spelling mistake - but yes, great work!
@Diesel Laws — Well I'm dyslexic so…
Is this based off the iOS6 beta App Store? Cause I personally think it looks sick, especially compared to the iOS5 and previous stores.

@James Fletcher — Nah… it's just a quick mockup based on the IA of the current AppStore. Main reason to point out that Apple need to shape up their UX design. At first glance one might think everything from Apple is crisp and perfect but then you will notice that it isn't.
I agree, but take a look the iOS6 app store...it's pretty sweet.
Pretty awesome! Liking your work Daniel! Entypo is very cool :)
