Logotype I´m working on for a Greek tattoo studio called Medusa. I can´t decide if the "S"-snake in Medusa is too much?

kinda hard to see from this angle, but it maybe too much, not really sure cause of the view, you've got a lot of snakes surrounding it, this piece is looking really great.

haha, yeah @Neil Tasker. Not too bright to ask for criticism and then choose a photo taken from an "artsy" angle. I think I agree though.

Gives me motivation to get better at typography for sure! Keep up the good work man it looks flawless. Oh and I just noticed those snakehead ends...That's bad ass!

@Martin Schmetzer, from a conceptual standpoint, many small snakes work a lot better than the one big one. Also, at least from this angle, the density and strength of the mark seems to be weakened by the S, which seems a bit lighter than the rest of the letters in the main logotype.
The small snakeheads are fantastic and REALLY get the concept across. IMHO, no need for the larger snake.

this looks very awesome ... concerning the „S“ I agree to @Nikita Prokhorov ... the snake body should probably get a bit thicker - at least like the U I think, ... but great job anyway

I suggest you keep the snake, it looks awesome, and people associate Medusa with snakes, so it won't be hard to read. It looks amazing, great job!
