   Reworking the navigation on my site...are there way too many of these? I want to communicate that I'm connected on a number of sites, but it feels cluttered to me. Thoughts? Maybe I should drop the flickr icon...

   I think you could separate portfolio, contact and blog out of there and keep your social icons together... that would leave you with only 4. Unless you're wanting to do your whole navigation all icon-y :)
