@Dan Toth@Chris Young - I definitely spent a lot of time on the form of the wing/tail. I was looking for a mark that would be different from other "duck/bird" logos. Here are a few examples of where I got some inspiration:
This logo is strong as a mark. I agree with having it fly from left to right and changing the wing direction. I'm thinking the shapes that distinguish the feathers in the wing need to had graceful curves similar to the duck bill / cheek curve.

I was also looking to make the wing/tail resemble a wave/water as the product is water related. Might still need some work.
