Working on a logo for a startup. What do you read?

I read "shirt news" at first glance. I think it's maybe because of the vertical space between the 'h' and 'r' - kinda implies an 'i' somehow.
I'm sure it is short news :P love the work just a little confused about the color :)
@Nuruzzaman Sheikh: I just posted a plain as possible version of the logo to concentrate on the words, rather than the looks :)
And thanks :)
@Nayla Smith Yep, it's the negative space that fucks everything up. Even in plain writing - shrtNWS. I guess that's something we just have to deal with, since it's the name of the startup.
@Alexander Danling Ah I see, that's a toughie. What if you contained it somehow, like with brackets at the sides? To convey that it's been compressed.
Really liking this...
@Shaun Moynihan: Thanks :)
I read Short News. I just sort of assumed that the word was Short in that it was implied through the shortening of the word itself...
@Marc Kimmel Thanks for your input :)
I read short news + I like this :)

The final logo for shrtNWS - a news service that brings you news, short n' sweet. Check out www.shrtnws.com for the beta version of the site.
The requirements for the logo was simple and easy to use for Twitter accounts and iOS icons. And IMO I think I succeeded with that :)
