And the label for my first attempt at brewing an IPA. Only 2 months until I know how royally I screwed it up. Pardon the cheesy pun, but it seemed like a great idea at 3:00 in the morning.

If the ale tastes half as good as the label looks, you're in for a treat.

Well, it's 8:30am here and it's still a kicka** idea. Part of me wishes you were brewing it in Pennsylvania, though (you know, for the double whammy "PA").

Love it. That shield/X holding shape is awesome—I bet it looks great on the bottle. Wish this was actually a black IPA, though, for that extra level of punnery.

Me too. Although, I have tried both Unita's and Heavy Sea's Black IPA and have to say, I prefer the classic.

Big love to another dribble homebrewer. May I ask why it's taking 2 months to ferment? Is it a strong'un?

Sorry: 3 weeks fermentation. 2 months of laggering. And I really hope it's strong, I mean, anything named Black Eye better live up to it's freaking name.
