Another loopy logo I'm working at the moment is a logo for Gusto bakery. It must look tasty and youth.
Attached are two concepts. Just concepts, not a stuff ready to be shown to a client, just a basic that I wanted to show through the process.

It looks extremely fresh. Not too sure about it's legibility.
I read G)#@*^$&)&@*#$)@*#^$to...but I just got back from a run so my head is spinning a bit.
Ok, now I read 'gusto.' ;) Lovin' this style, but maybe I'd make the connection from the G to the U thinner, so it's recognizable as a juncture and mistaken for part of a letter.
Kakieto highlights budut ili prosto spoloshnoi cherni tsvet?
@Isaac Grant ＊ @Nikita Prokhorov Thanks guys! Sure there're a lot of thing to work on, especially it's thickness. Those are just a basic to work on further.
Mi fa gusto seeing the final result – looks great!
Oddly, when I saw the preview I yelled "Gusto!" in my head, then when I sized it up it became a little more difficult to read. That input is pointless though because A) you just said it's early in the process and B) I'm pretty hungover.
OMFG. SO FAT SO SWAG:)
Top one gets my vote. I'm able to read it easily, and I think the weight of the letters is fine. Their fatness suits a bakery ;)
I wish I have these amazing hand lettering skills. Amazing work! :)
@Arno Kathollnig @Jarad Johnson @Forsuregraphic @Jeff Jenkins @Jerome Collinge @Daniel Aláez Thank you guys for your comments and appreciations!
Love love love!
DAmn, Sergey. love this. makes me want to go out and find a bakery and find some big heavy stuffed goodie and chow down big time.. Sweet indeed!

@R712 Wanted to show my wife how to write word "to wait" (kidarida) but did it incorrect:) Have almost forgot korean without having practice.
@Sergey Shapiro oh! 기다리다or기달리다 words is pretty means.
I'm glad to meet the Korean word on dribbble. thanks :)
Hey manito, wacth the "u", looks like a "n", the rest is ok
@Joluvian It may be but you will never read the word as Gnsto. You don't read words by letters so you know for sure that it reads as gUsto;)
