I made this today in part of my efforts to learn and improve my skills at patten making with Adobe Illustrator's new pattern making tool. This didn't turn out perfect, but I still think it's a lot of tun :)
also, I have attached .zip of this the patterns I have created as illustrator swatches, which includes a few slight variations.
PS. I can't guarantee these will work in illustrator versions CS4 or below.

The longer I look the more letters I see lol. No seriously; insane job!
truly wonderfully playful!
Really amazing! Works out well.
Try making a typo from them brains.
What do you think? ha?
Looks tasty =P~
Awesome job. I really would love to know about your workflow. Any plans for publishing a tutorial about this (patterns and all that stuff), even it's premium? Maybe here: http://vector.tutsplus.com/about/write-a-tutorial/
Wow! Great work.
I wanna chew on this.
Wow, this looks so hard to do and probably it is. A tutorial would be so cool. Well done!
Wow this is awesome! Fresh.
New pattern making tool in Illustrator? Huh? What? Where?!?!
Two words: mind blowing! Ahahah, get it?
Makes me want bubblegum.
@Felix Hornoiu, that's an awesome idea, I will have to try it out sometime when I get a chance :)
@Joaquim Marques Nielsen, the tool I mean is in the Adobe Illustrator CS6. That feature alone makes it worth the cost of upgrading to the new version. :)
check out this link to see how the tool works: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/cs6-creative-cloud-feature-tour-for-design/pattern-creation-in-illustrator-cs6/
@Kevin Eichhorn, I have always wanted to make a tutorial, but can never seem to find the time. Making a complex organic pattern like this would probably be a fun one to do if I ever get around to it. Will have to put this on my todo list :)
Your files doesn't work on my CS6… ai file just seems to be empty… :'(
@Jeremy Paul, have you tried the .ase file? Also, the .ai file is empty, but check the swatches, they should be there.
Haha that's really awesome!! :))
