This Mac app is what I created - I called it iNotified or whatever you like. I personally would rather be notified by one simple app that is loaded on launch of my machine than 5-6 applications I have to run manually to get updates (Twitter, Dribbble, Dropbox, etc...)
It looks good. My only comment is the anti-aliasing on the text. You have have set to "Sharp". I think it looks better when it's set to "Crisp". Here's an example. http://cl.ly/H1yb
@Julia Khusainova Look at the difference in the "d" in "data" on the top. The left one is much more crisp and light. The right one has a very heavy terminal on the "d". It looks like the weight is not disrupted properly.
@Uri Kelman, well no - the right one looks way better to me - it is clear, prominent and clean (which is sharp as I made it). On my mac, at least. Your version looks a bit fuzzy and the timeline text getting lost - too thin to my taste.
Trust me, I played around with different versions of text rendering and that once appeared to be the best.
The left one is using "Sharp" anti-aliasing. Notice how the semi-transparent pixels are darker. It also distributes the transparent pixels in an odd manner which makes different parts of the letter seem thicker.
The right one is using "Crisp" anti-aliasing. The semi-transparent are lighter which gives it a nicer appearance when using small fonts.
Sorry about going on about this, it's a just a pet peeve of mine.
@Julia Khusainova Okay. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Regardless, it's a really nice shot. I love all of your work that I've seen.

I was bored and felt like design something.

This is really nice. Would you be open to discussing on Skype? I've been working on something similar.

@Julia Khusainova It only really makes a difference when the letters are displayed so small. Around 12/11 px.
Here's another example.

@Uri Kelman, thanks for your comments and discussion. It's always interesting to know how other guys doing their work.
I use Crisp all over the place but here the Sharp one looked better to me.
