It's been a year and 2 months since I last posted a shot for Hello! Ranking. As you'll notice, a lot has changed.
My realization that this will ultimately be more of a utility than a "fan-site" along with the plans that Jen and I now have for the "empire," have ultimately set this new style. Also, I'm tired of this being a perpetual work-in-progress. It's time to ship this.
In particular our ranking system, which I codenamed "daisuki" (strongly like or love in Japanese) will have a different look from the rest of the site. While the rest of Hello! Ranking is mainly consumed, the ranking is very interactive, so the UI gets out of the way. I guess we'll see how well that works.
Check the attachment for the full (work-in-progress) effect.
Oh my ! I really love the simplicity of this work : colors / Shapes / contrast / space. I like almost everything here :)
I would maybe increased a little bit the line-height of the questions text. Or decrease the font-size. Well maybe I'm wrong. But anyway that's gorgeous !

@Bob Ewing, @Scott Riley, @Aurélien Foutoyet — Thanks for the critiques. I'll definitely work on that line-spacing. :)
Oh, and it's set in Adelle. ;)
