Last week, we released GitHub for Windows. I threw myself on the project after I suggested that the landing page should inherit the Metro design style that would be incorporated into the application itself.
I stretched the boundaries a little, but you'll be surprised as to how many boundaries there were when designing this. I definitely have a lot more respect for the Metro design system than I did before starting on this.
It's just a shame that there isn't an @font-face license available for Segoe UI. :/
The UX behind Metro is seriously well thought out. I've been reading into it as of late and it's pure genius! As for your shot, you know how I feel already! Awesome job, sir! :)
