Cool, kinda strange, but the design is well suited to the word :P
Cheers @Andrew Terpening I don't think it's possible to make lettering out of a tongue without an element of strange but glad you think it suits it.
Also I hope @Nick Slater doesn't mind but I have added highlights in a similar style to his work. They really give a shine to his designs and I thought that would work here.
@Chris Beaumont Haha, yeah, I think you're right.
I noticed the highlights, and I highly doubt @Nick will mind
@Chris Beaumont @Andrew Terpening I don't care!! This is legit! Be nice if you added some drool!
Cheers @Nick Slater An earlier version did include it but I couldn't get the effect as I wanted. Maybe next time I need to make some type out of tongue. This was a bit of a break between client work so I didn't want to spend too long on it.
@Chris Beaumont do you want to skype letter and I can show you?
Great the n like a banana ;)
Ha! Love it, Chris! Excellent work.
@Nick Slater Gotta admit I have no Idea what you mean by skype letter but any help or advice is very much appreciated
Love it, try to add some drool though i think it would just add some more detail and make it pop
@Chris Beaumont hahah I mean skype later lol
@Nick Slater Ha ha I get you, thought I was really out of the tech loop for a while. Yeah man that would be good I'm on as beaumontdesign
Love this one Chris, it's so perfect for the word. (Can't believe you actually managed to do a really long word entirely out of a tongue). The end of the last 'n' in particular is really vivid, looks great (haha, great example sentence too!)
@Claire Coullon Yeah the sentence is off a list of the dead words you can draw found here , I loved it too, so descriptive in such a short sentence. Some of the line work could be a lot better but I'm slowly getting the transition from hand drawn to vector.
"I don't think it's possible to make lettering out of a tongue without an element of strange" such a great quote! Haha nice work man
@Joseph Alessio Between that quote, this design and having a hamster powered raygun in my portfolio I can't see me ever getting hired again. Think I need stick to serious subjects for a while
awesome work kiss, I mean chris haha, love the tongue buddy!
Haha! I think any employer would rather hire someone with a sense of humor, at least today. Maybe not 100 years ago, though!
