I think the conversations need variation and contrast. All of the conversation blends together from the users. Either the receiver or the sender needs to be a different color or have something to differentiate who's saying what.

Nice to see something fresh. Theres alot i love and dislike about the Metro style, but you've executed this well to stick to the style guide but make it beautiful to look at and use.
