Hah! This is great. Love the inspiration and love the way the logo came out....hilarious!
If it was me, I'd include a bottle in one tentacle and a glass lying on its side above the 'studios.' But...that may be overkill. It's already really well done and nicely balanced.
Good one, Rich! Sometimes inspiration is found in the strangest places :)
This is amazing, Love that you have attached the inspiration image too.
so funny ... love the expression of this little fellow ... where did you get a photo of my early school days from ???
Haha, this is fun Rich, both inspiration - and yr execution.
Wow love love love this friend, so how much beers to get the inspiration :D and find there the octopus GREAT!!
Love it! Nice one Rich.
Ha, this is fantastic! (I know I've seen that inspiration image somewhere too, but can't remember where..) I love how you've referenced that photo while making it very much your own, it's really distinctive and fun.
I know this correlation (octopus pose). Logo fun!

Final approved design. The client preferred this layout and lowercase font style. The blue tones were also made a touch darker. Logo now animated by Dan Johnson of Spin My Logo: www.spinmylogo.com www.vimeo.com/47336194
