   @Max He switched it to vertical like this so you can hold you phone with one hand. It's a tad awkward, but not horrible. Simply hold your phone in your right (or left if you so prefer) hand, wrap your index finger around to the front and pinch vertically with your thumb and index finger. Not impossible, but still not the easiest way.

   In my opinion it has to be unlocked with only one finger. The fold to unlock is better I think.

   @Max it is not easier, fold is better.
   that's more of a fun experiment

   we should keep one finger sliding motion of course but they could have different animations. (fold top-bottom, left/right, ...)
