Started doodling around the theme of a previous project. I've attached a basic coloured version too just to see how it would look.

I love the vintage feel! The 'E' and 'L' in particular. Nice line work, that requires patience! The shading on the ribbon is great.
Cheers @Joseph Alessio The photo's the result of sketching and tracing which helps but it looks better from a distance believe me.
Love the balance of "Empire LIne" - very smooth!
this is sweet, it has good balance! would it benefit from the bottom banner not being so large, it sort of dwarfs the main text in the middle i feel. it may also fit better with the baseline of the 'empire line' text too if it was smaller.
Really, really nice. Like @Joseph said, I especially love how you've done the 'E' and 'L'. The way both bottom curves mirror each other is just perfect. The rounded ball terminals give the whole piece a good navigation/map/exploration touch too, I love that.
On the upper 'L' horizontal, its right side feels a little bit cut off/restricted. I wonder how it would look extending a little further out and with a small rounded terminal (like the upper left one on 'E').
Cheers @Claire Coullon Glad you like it. I did wonder about the top of the L, I was worried people might not see it as an L if I extended it but I think that was just me looking at it for to long so I'll give that a go soon.
Yeah I see what you mean – I think if it just extended only a little bit further and had quite a discreet the stroke terminal, it should still read fine. I forgot to mention by the way, I love the line quality and detail of the sketch!
I love it.
