"Lets Play In The Wild"

Just got an Apple Pen from my wife for Christmas! The first thing I did was sketch this out, as we had just returned from a 4 day trip on a backcountry ski touring trip:

"To get to the "Stanley Mitchell" hut on the first day, we started our trek just outside of Field, AB, at 7:10 AM. We started with headlamps, and began our 23 km tour in the dark. Breaking trail was not easy, and 12 hours later we made it to the hut after spending the last 3 hours in dark again as we made our final approach to the hut. Becky and I spent the next 2 days recovering as we were very sore and tired, so our days involved shopping wood to restock the pile, melting and boiling snow for water, and sitting by the warm stove as we watched the snow fall. The snow came down the whole trip, and getting back out on the 4th day was just as much of a challenge. My favourite part on that last day was finally being able to transition my splitboard into ride mode, and riding through the deep untouched powder in the morning dark with our headlamps. It was the hardest trip Becky or myself had done, but it was definitely an adventure we will remember for the rest of our lives."
