So at 4:30 today put up some prayers for me. Thought this would be a funny and great way to start a lil' side project called "Life Badges". Feel free to make a badge of something that pertains to your life. Lets make a huge library of life badges! As always comments & feedback are most welcome! And for this one time, jokes as well...;)
@Everyone! Thanks so much for the well wishes, prayers, and laughs! At home now recovering with my frozen peas. It was an interesting situation to say the least. Fellas if you decide to do this hollar at me first so I can give you the real deal...lol! Thanks for the feedback & comments also! I needed the laughs.
so when i was 17 (2001) my friends and i built a table-top ramp out of plywood and 2x4s in my buddy Mike's back yard. when finished, we were testing the ramp, rolling over it slowly, and everybody was being scared of it so i thought "hey, i used to race BMX, ive hit jumps like this a hundred times. let me show these guys how its done".
so i get on my friend Steve's BMX bike, get some distance, get some speed up and . . . way misjudged this ramps capabilities because i thought i was about to launch into orbit! i came down over the handle bars and snapped my shit up!
everyone remembers this incident best with my friend Josh trying to pick me up by my arm and leg and drag me, i dont know, somewhere. not trusting my friends medical expertise i said "DON'T MOVE ME! DON'T MOVE ME!". (and i still hear about me "crying" this from friends today) i knew something bad had happened but it didnt really sink in until about 5 mins later. the pain started coming, and i couldnt even move my leg without feeling pain in my shoulder.
i was in a sling for about a month. i took it really easy and careful because at the time, i was racing karts and karting season started about 6 weeks from that time. i didnt want to miss any races. it all worked out. i was good to go by opening weekend.

Amazingly painful.
I can see one with 3 cuts in my near future. TMI? Probably.
Okay, I'm kidding. Hang in there!
