This is my first experiment in fancy newsletter design. I was considering adapting this design to an HTML email, but in the end decided against it and sent out a simpler email with a link to a webpage.
The live version is here
The page also implements the unsubscribe/resubscribe mechanics that I posted earlier today. If anyone wants to play with it, here's a link that mimics a subscriber hitting the page - demo

Looks like a 404
@Ivo - typo in the URL, sorry
I like it. If I would change anything, it would be the amount of space "The Newsletter/Date" is taking up vertically. Love the texture bg.
Live version looks very nice. Good work @Alex :)
Btw, may I suggest that the white highlight under the "logo thingy" is a bit harsh? :)
who knew shades of gray could be so sexy
@Alex Pankratov Great texture! I hate doing old skul newsletters - tables tables tables
Love it dude! Love that monochromatic style. Check my last shot from project I just working on right here!
Looks great, newsletters are a bloody nightmare to display right in most email clients. This mite help.
@Alex Pankratov :: Great details!
Textures are really nice, seems like you could tighten up the spacing overall a bit, which would especially be helpful in mobile browsers etc... Very subtle dig it!
Looking good and none generic! I could have coded it into a valid working E-mail Newsletter for you, it's my job. For free.
Wish there were more Newsletters like these.
Let me know.
@Kev - Thanks for the compliments and an offer. After considering all things involved I decided against HTML emails for now. I got your page bookmarked nonetheless.
Very nice, to state the obvious , it's so beautifully clean.
