Love the simple iconographic feel of the logo, but agree with @Kevin Fox...almost looks like modern-day riff on Picasso/Miro/Matisse. Maybe point the beak in the other direction and make it sharp instead of curved?

I think the linework is very very nice, as always, but the "level" element confused me at first. I only figured out what it was after reading some of the comments here. I think the icon of a level may be tough to decipher for people who aren't exactly handy.

I disagree with @Nikita Prokhorov 's suggestion. The owl LOOKS like an owl. It's not the beak that defines the owl. It's the eyes, mostly, and the general body shape. Those are nailed, here. It's just the level portion that throws me.

Love it Sean! I agree with @Christopher Magruder I UneekGrafix about the punch of color. I think it helped get across the idea of the level a bit faster.
