The buttons are nice. Should you be able to jump to a certain point of the audio/video as well? In this state that progress-bar is kinda small for fat-fingers? :P

Well that was fun. Kinda brings back memories of mix tapes and pencils. You young bucks won't even get the reference. Oh the joys of rewinding and finding the right song with a pencil.
I'm thinking of developing this into jQuery and then releasing it for free. For the browser, the album art slides out on hover and on Mobile it comes out on Tap. It should have a song list beneath it, but hey, one step at a time. Credits for the Artwork credits go to Jacqui Oakley

Nice and simple. Is timeline scrubbing possible? If it is, that looks like a very small touch target.

Thanks guys, no need for scrubbing on this UI, however @Ryan O. Hicks I do agree, they're a bit close. But in my defense, there'll be 4 more buttons to fit on an iPhone screen, so some things get a little close to each other.

In case I didn't imply it, I'm loving it! For scrubbing, if you'd want to do it, you can do it Youtube style, meaning the progress bar increases on size on hover or touch.
