I've modified the beer label a little bit. I bottled it last week and it should be ready to drink in 1.5 weeks. I'm planning on screen printing the label this weekend, but I'm only about 55% satisfied with this option.

The ribbon looks a bit off - I find the curls that make the O's a little too big and makes it look heavy in that area. I know GoMedia has some pretty cool ones.

You could maybe try putting this in a label / crest / shield type of thing.

@Tony thanks. I think the ribbon was throwing me off as well.

@Trent. yah. i think the next step might be a some wheaty decoration or a shield. but the black/white only aspect makes that a little tough.

thanks for the suggestions. keep them coming!

I like how this is progressing!

The type nerd in me wants to see more space between "chocolate", "and" and "maple". I'm curious how the carriage would look without the shadow. I also agree with Tony that the ribbon looks a little heavy.

  6. here's the is the final version thanks to everyone's feedback! reagan's idea of taking out the shadow worked wonders. i also capitalized the pun on my last name. my wife and i cracked open the first beer tonight and it's good enough to share. i'm going to be making the screen tonight.
