Still trying to figure out what path to take with this poster (it needs to include a horse on the bands request). Here's the two current versions...
Any suggestions?
I'm in love with the right, but it would be interesting to add more highlights into it. - Highlights on nostrils, temples, cheekbones, etc.
I'm not sure I dig the left (maybe cause I'm just a horse person and a bloody horse isn't the greatest thing to picture), but mainly because it doesn't look as dynamic as the right. It's flat and definitely not as interesting as the right. He's also missing a forelock, which right now makes him look more like a goat than a horse!
Hey Elisa
Thanks for the suggestions. I really have a hard time trying to figure out how to make a horse look cool/rock. But it's great to get some critique from a horse person. The blood on the left one - btw - is a reference to the Godfather film.
The right one; I don't know about adding to many details. I don't want it to be detailed picture of a horse... just a "feeling of horse". But maybe I'll try it out. Thanks again!
