Playing around with a new portfolio for myself. Trying something simple that makes it easy to see all my work. Feedback welcome!

Nice Brad, I like that font...is it too "grunge" for the look you're going for? Hard to tell in 400x300
Thanks Jason! I chose this font for 2 reasons. First, I wanted to create (along with the paper pattern) a handcrafted feel. And second, I wanted the header text to carry a significant amount of weight. I thought this did a good job at both :)
I can definitely play around with it some more and see if something more clean works too though.
Really liking this. What typeface is that in the header? Has just the right amount of grunge without being over-the-top.
It definitely works for hand crafted...looking forward to seeing it live.
@Chris the font is Lietz Hamburg
@Jason I'll be posting some more shots as they come together. hopefully i can get it finished soon :)
Brad, I am definitely a fan of this look. I really like the way you were able to easily transition from one texture to the next. The font reminds me a lot of Alte Haas Grotesk, except with a bit more grunge...perfect for what you are going for.
@Zac thanks a lot!
Checking our your wrok after you commented on my recent shot... I'm seeing a lot of like-like-like ahead, haha. Great work!
Love the grid idea for the background
Really like the font, I think you've made a great decision in using a grungy font, really give a more personal touch.
@Adam: Appreciate it!
