I know it's not Tuesday but still had a few minutes to doodle and wanted to do some ornate lettering stuffs. Absolutely no clue where the concept came from but seemed like a fun idea anyways. Happy Friday!

@Justin Lancastert Dude, you're totally right! I love the LHF faces but hadn't taken the time to peruse their entire catalog. Could have just gone and picked something similar up! Reminds me, I should really get to buying some of their type! ;)

@Neil Tasker - I'm using the small one as well but I may pop for the larger size. I've been wanting to snag a Rhodia pad though recently so I might get a large one of those.

man you sketch great in small spaces! I tend to want to draw so big, I can hardly fit anything longer than one word in!

@Joseph Alessio I completely empathize man, I'm totally self-taught myself. I'd love to get some formal training...maybe someday. ;)

Cool @Joshua! Several people have told me that it can indeed be done, i.e. have a successful career w/o a degree, and since I'd rather not be out $100k plus the compounding interest from the student loans, I'm trying it the hard way. Hard work will fill in where money can't! haha

@Sam Kapila - I use a variety of pens and pencils; actually created a shot listing most of my tools. If you ever make it to the ATX Dribbble meetups I'll happily share with ya. Or heck, if you're still in ATX hit me up sometime, always happy to talk some shop. ;)
