    Do you do these types of lines in illustrator? I can always get these strokes by hand (on paper of course) but it's crazy hard to get them to look that pretty in photoshop using the pen tool. Any tips would be appreciated.

    @John Howard, you are correct. All the line work was done in illustrator. The pen tool in PS is just way too janky and harder to control in my opinion. The key I have found is to always design larger so you have more room and then bring it all in slowly and you'll get the curves you are looking for.
