This idea is great and looks good.
My only suggestion for possible improvement would be to make the icons and larger dark areas slightly opaque so some of the texture comes through.

Justin - Yeah, that's a good point. It loses the paper underneath at 100%. A lot of info in a small area makes the icons small as well... I'll take a look ~ Thanks
