   I like the icons, they look crisp.

   Regarding the background, is there some kind of a special technique to create it? I see patterns like this often, but can't figure out a better way to reproduce them other than using a large pencil and playing with layer opacity, which is excruciating.

   @Perceval McElhearn You need to create varying gray squares, with a slight 1px inner glow, possibly some noise, and just play around with it.
