You're always welcome mate! Your works are stunning @Greg Eckler! I really love your typo & sketches!! They inspired my last work, really! Could you suggest me some books where I can learn more about typo art!? Thanks in advance mate! Have a great day!
@Tobia Crivellari books are sometimes hard to come by because only recently has decorative and expressive letterforms become a major focus in art and design. It has always been there though. But some things I can recommend are books like Heller and Fili's "Scripts: Elegant Lettering From Design's Golden Age." Another favorite of mine is "Art of Modern Rock." There is also the Type Directors Club annual. I also look to a lot of Victorian and chromolithographic printing from the beginning of the industrial revolution for inspiration.
Also some people to look to would be: Marian Bantjes, Ken Barber, Doyald Young, Alex Trochut, Sean Freeman, Seb Lester, Jessica Hische, Dana Tanamachi, Jeff Rogers, John Passafiume, Louise Fili, Ray Fenwick, Nate Williams, Si Scott, Sean McCabe, Claire Coullon, and Pete Adams just to name a few :)
Thanks a lot @Greg Eckler !!...Thanks for all!!... Doyald Young and Dana Tanamachi are known!..:-)..I'll check all names and two books that you mentioned to try to learn something more about this amazing art!..ave a great day mate!
