It's gorgeous! I love the details and the way you shaded it to have a gradient like effect but I have a problem...it makes me think of cookies and now I want cookies! haha
Such an terrific shot, the fill style is just gorgeous. Not to mention that 'y' descender.. ! I love how the end stroke hangs like that. The way you connect horizontals with verticals is really striking too, especially in the bottom left area of 'u'. Can't wait to see more of this!
Thanks @Claire! I actually finished up the font, just working on doing some opentype stuff and tweaking some of the kerning pairs in font lab. So hopefully, I can get it out there before the end of this month! I'll be posting more shots of my favorite glyphs and what not :D
@Joseph shouldn't be too bad, it's kinda folllows textura principles and keeps the same width for many letters. It's just certain letter combinations and the alternatives.

Oh that sounds great, can't wait to see how it translates to digital! All the best with the kerning pairs too, I'm sure it's the most fun part ;)

Looks great! Kerning pairs for this will be tough, like @Claire mentioned... can't wait to see glyphs!
