Well, here's the final result of the idea that bore Climacons. I know Dribbble has seen quite a few of these, but if I didn't make one too it would be like building an engine and never driving the car.
@Maxwell Barvian I guess it comes down to personal preference. I like things to be as clean and simple as possible. Added to the fact there have been a few coloured designs done already...
@Yura Yarokhovich Again that comes down to preference, I thought about the information order I'd want when looking at this mockapp... Personal preference will always play an overwhelming role in designs like this.
@Beau Hankins Thanks Beau - I'm really pretty inexperienced with this sort of thing so there are bound to be gaping logic holes and flaws in the design but hopefully I can improve as I go :)
@Adam Whitcroft I partially agree with you... But, I think weather icon and temperature value complement and depend on each other. It's more a matter of usability.
I love this visually, but I would love to see the temp larger. Or maybe you can let your user to pick the major number, so let's say if wind is really important for me, I select that, from that point I see wind as my primary chunky number.
@Kerem Suer Thanks Kerem, means a lot coming from you! That's a great idea, agree it would (and should) be open to the user to decide which number to prioritise. I'll take it back to the drawing board. To be honest I'd love to see what you would do with something like this...

I agree with @Ari, although the complete lack of color makes it look more like a wireframe to me. Nice job either way :)

Agreed with @Maxwell Barvian about wireframe.
And I think it' not a good order: weather icon, day, temperature... it's better firstly day. But, all depends on a goal of app.

Agree with @Yura Yarokhovich , I'd suggest: Day on the left then both weather icon then temperature on the right. Looks great though (:

I'm really enjoying the lack of colour in this shot Adam. This still looks great despite not having any colour.

Nevertheless, you did a great job, without doubt.

Now I get why people always do the angled photos of their work, it's so their cameras don't reflect in the screen ;)

So sharp and clean. Stripped for all "standard" shininess and gloss. Very good job!

@Adam Whitcroft That makes us two :) Is it hitting the App Store or "just" a concept?

@Karsten Moskjær Kofod Sadly, I'm no iOS developer so for the foreseeable future it'll remain as just a concept.

I like the lack of colour too, less is more, simple is best. You nailed this, no complaints here, @Adam.
I would sell my limbs to get this as an app :)

@Kerry Moran Yup :) Thanks man, I like minimal stuff so leaving the colourful apps to those who are rocking it :)
