This afternoon I made an organized PSD for the purposes of grabbing artwork from a single spot. So now when I need to put our logo somewhere, I've got one place to go! It's really handy to have various sizes and swatches to grab and drag into another document.

It's always good to start these things early. How did you decide on certain sizes of logos or assets in general? Are you following any standards or what not?
@Kerem Suer I have an obsession with the number eight.
@Louie Mantia That's a good idea. Looks great too :)
8? BUT IT ONLY HAS 6 HANDLES!
@Pasquale D'Silva I also have an obsession with 60 degree angles.
Oh yeah dude. Those are pretty cute angles. ACUTE ANGLES.
Really great idea. Makes me wonder why I've never done this
Good idea. Pashifiku Herumu.
@Louie Mantia - love it. you know, you could reverse the color scheme for the bottom left tile and it would look like the japanese flag.

It may not look too different, but there are a lot of little updates we made to our logotype. Firstly, there are small serifs. We also modified the letters to be slightly thinner and vary in weight through the character. Perhaps the most noticeable differences are the E and M, which were redrawn to fit the new serif style. Brad and I worked together on this update.
Here's an image to compare the old and new versions.
Please, feel free to comment below, just keep it constructive. Keep in mind that this is our finished product when you comment! :)
