    They are great. But you almost forget that it's actually a food product. Even the package on the butter still looks like some kind of design piece. That might be a good thing though, what are your thoughts here?

    i see what your saying. this is a company has primarily stayed small and over they past year or so has tried to expand. now carried in whole foods and shipping across the country i wanted to design something that stood out amongst the monotony of traditionally dairy products. while this could be a frequent, add this to your grocery list every week, kind of purchase. because of the cost, and the short shelf life due to zero preservatives i wanted to design a package that reflected the unique product and quality. I do understand what you are saying, and agree most products are over packaged for the sake of design. my milk carton is simply a milk carton just not ordinary. thanks pit!
