I've been playing around with various logo's for Industry over the past few weeks. I was never happy with the original concept and had never really settled on a colour scheme either.

    Anyway, green is under-rated.

You can sign-up for announcements as the speaker announcement will be coming very soon!

Looking guuurd. Bit more white space around the building in the black will help, at least the distance between the towers maybe more I recon.

For some reason, I was fond of the old logo.

The green looks awesome, what inspired this concept if I may ask?

    PS
pity I am all the way here in South Africa and I cannot attend the conference :(

I moved away from the original concept after looking at various types of industrial type buildings. Most of which once scaled down distorted so much it was barely recognisable.

I've always wanted to try some line work, so found a couple of buildings which suited how the line work could be used and got to it. This was the result. :-)

  9. The new Industry conference, helmed by @gavinelliott, the guy formerly behind DIBI has announced a new event for web professionals. Meet, Industry.

I worked on a little illustration inspired by Gavs logo design. I'm really excited about this project. Gav is doing an EPIC job, speakers were announced earlier today and tickets go on sale 21st June.
