I am working on my adopted sis's wedding invite, this logo will be made into stamps for everything and be on the front of their invite. I am not sure if the "and" is in the right place? also love to hear what I can do to make this the best it can be! As always comments & feedback are most welcomed! Thx!!
Hey Mike, nice sketch! In my opinion the "and" is in the right place and looks good. If you want to try something out you could use a nice ampersand instead of the "and".
@Thorsten Beeck, @Grace Marie Bienek, @Joseph Alessio So if I do an ampersand would y'all keep it where the "and" is or put it on the right side? Thanks again for the feedback and props! Much appreciated!!
An ampersand would probably go better on the right, since the left is visually heavier at the moment and there's more going on there. The "and" fits perfectly where it is but I think the shape of the ampersand wouldn't fit so well in that spot.
@Mike Jones - I would personally keep the ampersand in the same spot, but you would definatly have to play with sizing and the weight distribution to make it look intentionally (like an ampersand and not get hidden by the other loopy swirls). but it definatly would simplify things because you could size it up a bit instead of having a small "and". good luck with it :)
I really love this type. It looks amazing. I agree with previous comments, in that an ampersand would look best visually on the right side. It would really add more to the design in my opinion.

Wow @Mike, I love it! I might put the "and" a little more snugly up to the N-B connection. Really loving the swashes and ligatures!

I think the way you type in southern is boss. I'd go right side. Balancing the N+B with a connecting amper.

@Rudy Hurtado Global Branding thanks bro! I am also trying to decide whether or not to pull the dot from the "i" from the "e" or the "t"??

Looks great, except the "rent" sits too high for me.

Beautiful. Look forward to seeing this as a vector!
It should be an ampersand technically (when addressing a couple) - but is it even needed?
