Big thanks to an awesome iOS developer and good freind Franz at Taptanium for contributing a lot of his time and throwing ton of cool ideas at us!
This app will work similar to a regular thermometer. The hotter it is the higher info-box goes with matching warmer color. And of course the other way around for when it gets colder, but I really wouldn't know how it would work as I live in a steaming FL.
It would have an animation happen when app loads. And here are few little features:
1. tap on info box to expand and show more details
2. swipe right-to-left info box to see weekly forecast
3. settings for location or use local weather as default.
See attached weather-explained to get better idea.
Let me know what you guys think, this is pretty raw idea so any ideas, suggestions or comments are welcomed and highly appreciated. Thanks!
Really nice design, reminds me of the clear app. Just a suggestion but what if there was a way to tell humidity? maybe denser colors for humid days and dull colors for dry days. I don't know how that would look design wise, but just a suggestion :D!
@Rob Vloemans @Egor @Dennys Hess thank you guys! :)
@Nick Schiefer true, true, i was originally thinking it would get revealed on tap but now u're giving me some ideas... maybe there's a way to somehow make it more obvious.... maybe entire screen would reflect it somehow... since adjusting things on just info-box would look a little out of place design wise... I appreciate the feedback Nick! :)
I really love the design! The only thing I'd change is the position of the settings button. I'd place it on the top right spot of the screen and leave it always there. Now, if I've understood it correctly, it follows the info tab, right?
Amazing work! Very simple and so nice! Maybe try to make different height of stripes? Active is the biggest, and then thiner, thiner, thiner. It's just an idea. It already looks awesome;)

Nice idea. Scrap those 3 "little features", they're not needed, and release it!!

It's beautiful. Each weather app I see is better than the others, and this is now my favourite. Nice job!

The only thing that could make this look any better would be the use of @Adam Whitcroft's Climacons. I love it!
