Very nice Jeff...I'm thinking those blue lines are a bit thick and that there needs to be some kind of shadows behind the ring holes...what do you think?
Definitely shadows behind the ring holes, like Rogie said. I'm okay with the thick lines, though, reminds me of grade-school paper. (Though, in the case of grade-school paper it would probably have a wide-rule instead of a college-rule.) Also the lines look too perfect to me—if you look at most looseleaf, the lines printed on it are broken up by flaws or texture in the paper.
You don't really lose even chunks of paper above the holes when you tears sheets out and it's usually a lot more bent and random where the paper was ripped from the ring binding. Some notches may be missing completely, some still with the paper between and a slight rip.
I assumed this was the type of paper that "clips" into books, have you seen those? You don't have to tear them to remove, you can just "snap" them in and out of the rings.

Paper that snaps out!?! What kind of fancy shenanigans is that? I've been out of school too long I guess :P

I swear these things exist! I used to have one that had black paper so you could write with metallic gel pens, back in high school.
