I can't decide no texture or texture... I had some closer shots. All the type is custom. My buddy's buddy needs a label and so although this is a free project... I was more an willing to help out since I love to get a free buur! Let me know what you think!

amazing man, the type has a awesome honeycomb feel to it, while still retaining that lager feel, I say no texture.

Texture looks awesome, and the concept overall is great, the only room for improvement that I see is the color on the text, have you tried a more wine-looking red? this one looks very bloodish for me, btw, how did you do the slideshow thing? looks awesome!

this looks delicious! personally i'd go with no texture. I think the texture of the label will help make up for it

I hope your buddy's buddy knows just how damn lucky he is, this is so sweet. At first I thought no texture, then you showed the detail and the textures good so I'm torn. Maybe if the labels made of the right material you'll get that effect anyway?

Fantastic. Love how you softened up the blackletter a bit—I think it works really well with the other elements. I'm partial to no texture myself. It fits the smooth glossiness I associate with honey anyway.

Looks great with texture. I agree with the guys that the label may create the texture once printed. Love the type…especially how the ‘n’ and ‘g’ almost connect.

The highlights on the connected drips seem a bit off.

I don't think the texture is lending much here—Let that awesome type shine.

I really have to agree about maybe the paper... We will see once it gets printed. All the feedback is really helpful... although I am still torn between the no texture and texture.

To elaborate more on my vote, I think the texture takes away from the type, but also the overall feel. The whole Honey thing conjures up a glossy and shiny feel - the texture completely kills that.

This looks awesome. I would definitely go with no texture because when you think honey your think glossy, not textured. The texture takes away from the overall look in this case. Well done sir, you make me strive to be a better designer.

I say no texture. Lately it seems to be more of a fad or a design crutch rather than having an actual purpose. My rule is if you add anything to a design piece and it's purely for decoration, leave it out.

    That being said...love it.
