I think you can do better in the featured color, seems purpuleish which I think doesn't provide a wide semiotic meaning relationship, have you tried the classic eggish yellow, I think It'd give a great sense of balance in addition to the classic concept of Favorite.
@BJ Heinley it's quite simple!, it's the fact that the Favorite icons are always yellow, and people relate the yellow star icon with favorites. Cheers!
